Essay Contest in the Bronx Harry Truman High School
The Hispanic Association for Professional Advancement (HAPA) was first established
in Los Angeles in 1977 by a group of seven Hispanic Xerox employees (our Founding
Fathers), who saw a need for a single unified voice of Hispanic representation

The planned work at this time is
· Installation of the finished electrical in all four units (this will employ
20 people)
The rest of the task list is fluid but will likely include
· Painting of doors (already installed)
· Rough Landscaping (moving top soil)
· Building Fences
· Installation of Cabinets
· Installation of base boards
I will definitely have a fix on the task list by Monday. We have moved a lot
of items to another build site so here is a list of items I always bring to the
site that allows me to keep busy...
· Tool Belt
· Roofing Triangle
· Utility knife
· #2 Phillips Screwdriver
· ¼” Flat Screwdriver
· Hammer (16 oz smooth)
· Tape measure
· Carpenters Pencil
If any one has any paint pans, brushes and rollers it will be helpful. Power
tools like cordless drills & screwdrivers, compound miter saws, and nail/brad
guns may come in handy as well.
