This email is sent to communicate two quick notes to the chapter. First of all,
a huge THANKS to everyone who prepared and attended the scholarship fundraiser
on September 3rd. The event was great fun and brought the members together from
different Xerox functions to show our strength in numbers. Through your support
the event raised $830 for a scholarship to be awarded later this year. Details
of how to nominate worthy students will be communicated in the next newsletter.

The next opportunity for development is this Saturday, Celebrate Hispanic Heritage
Month On September 19th the California HAPA Chapter and Xerox are supporting the
Center for Hispanic Leadership’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and their
Event Rebuild Your Momentum: Why Hispanics Must “Trust Their Brand”. Our chapter
will have a booth set up among other major companies from Southern California.
Please stop by the event to network among other Hispanic professional in the area
and support the local HAPA chapter. Details below. If you’re interested in becoming
